Sinaloan Blue Sage, or Salvia 'Bicolor', is scientifically known as Salvia sinaloensis. It is native to the foothills of Sierra Madre Occidental in Sinaloa, Mexico. This herbaceous perennial sage thrives in a variety of conditions, making it an excellent choice for Texas landscapes! The aromatic, lance-shaped leaves produced by the Sinaloan Blue Sage have a purple-bronze tint that is kept under bright light. It produces dark blue flowers with a tint of violet from late spring through fall.
